安卓藝術遷址囉! MSAC moved!

 

安卓藝術由衷感謝您一年半來的支持與鼓勵，特此通知您我們已於2011年10月份起正式進駐新生16概念場所，為喜好藝文的您繼續服務；新址座落於紫藤廬旁，鄰近大安森林公園與師大，是台北市區中一棟充滿人文氣息與歷史情感的老房子。遷址後的首檔展覽由藝術家石晉華為新生16量身打造的全新個展「走過一年」，即將於10月15日開幕，歡迎舊雨新知蒞臨指教。

MSAC sincerely thanks you for your long support and encouragement in the past 1.5 years. We are happy to announce that MSAC officially moves to Xinsheng 16 conception space in October 2011 and will continue to serve art-lovers here in Taiwan. Xinsheng 16 conception space is next to the famous historic monument, Wistaria House, which built in 1920 by Japanese colonial government. Besides, Daan Forest Park and National Normal University are also in the neighborhood. It is a longstanding building full of the humanities and memories. The latest show MSAC is going to present here is  “ Passing Through a Year”by Shi Jin Hua.  We cordially invite you to the opening on 10/15.

馬來西亞女性藝術家伊蓮(Yee I-Lann)，其創作透過一種詩意的文化影像探討政治結構裡的社會整體與單一個體、東南亞群島的文化鏈接與衝突，馬來西亞人的共同記憶等議題。伊蓮在台北的首次個展「流動的世界」(Fluid World)，將呈現藝術家近年對於文化、社會、經濟的一系列反思，與同樣深受殖民文化影響且地屬海島的台灣，進行一次深刻地文化互動與交流。

Malaysian artist Yee I-Lann has gained recognition both locally and internationally for her distinctive work. She tells stories by her art which is also an exploration of Malaysia socio-political-economic structure, the cultural nexus of Southeast Asia archipelago and also the Malaysia’s communal memory. “Fluid World”, as her first solo show in Taipei, Taiwan, will present a series of works as her recent deliberation of culture, society, and economics issues. It is more than remarkable to Taiwan for being in the same place where is also in the seas and has been influenced by colonial culture.
